Initial Troubleshooting Questions
Here are some initial questions that you should answer when troubleshooting a security camera that has no video image.

Is this an existing camera that was working and at some point had video loss? Follow these troubleshooting steps.

Test Your Power Supply – get an adapter there’s LED on it or is it warm & working?

Check Power Supply Box Fuses – if group of CCTV lost video, high chances is fuse blown.

Test Camera on a Different DVR Port – unplug workable Camera cable to test on Lost Video BNC input.

Use a Test Monitor – plug CCTV cable direct into a Analogo monitor to test video.

Use a Test Cable and Spare Power Supply – get an external cable and mobile battery to power your faulty CCTV Camera.

Is this a new security camera or DVR? Do this first.

Confirm your Camera and DVR are Compatible – it might be codec AHD CVI TVI SDI, resolution 720 1080P, onvif protocol compatibility issue.
